Model Julia Visual Artist Rae Ellen, 2016
The abstract quaulity; one fines when simply adding a line of paint to the human form, has always intrigued me. I’ve been throwing paint at subjects for years, but not until I worked with visual artist Rae Ellen, did I understand the need for texture. She showed me the importance of depth and focus. I continue to revisit the Painted Series as a form of expression. Taking subjects of all kinds willing to be thrown into the messy side of art.
